Details for this year:
The Stinson Beach Relays were started 51 years ago by Tam coach,
Craig Vezie as a way to interest athletes in the sport of cross
country. After they graduate, many runners still think of
the Stinson Beach Relays as their favorite race. It is up to coaches,
athletes, parents and spectators to maintain the fun, accessible, safe
and positive environment of The Stinson Beach Relays!
-Safety First:
The Stinson Beach Relays is not a water event. It is a running event.
Water activities are not part of this event. Athletes must be supervised
by a parent if they go in the water. There is no lifeguard present and
schools do not authorize athletes to go into the water.
-No Dogs:
Dogs are not allowed on Stinson Beach (National Park Service lands).
They are allowed near the north turnaround but not near the
Start/Finish and team area.
-Clean up:
Each team is responsible for cleaning up their team area before
departing.
Stinson Beach Relays are once again are being sponsored by One Tam. They are our contact with the National Park Service. Without their help, we would not be able to have this event! This event was started by Coach Vizie of Tam as a way to get kids interested in the sport of cross country. I already can’t wait for the new freshmen to have this experience.

Date: Wednesday, September 6.
Format: Teams of 4+ athletes.
This year BOYS go first, followed by Girls.

New for 2023: SFRC Shoe Raffle!
This year, the San Francisco Running Company will raffle off a pair of Nike Pegasus to a runner from each team! There will be 4 girls winners and 4 boys winners and somehow we will decide if a boy or girl from our 9th MCAL school gets the shoes! To enter the raffle, athletes will go to the SFRC table and write their name down to be entered in the raffle. This is the only way they will get into the raffle. During that awards, Raffle winners will be chosen. Athletes need to be present to win.
Thank you, SFRC for supporting our high school athletes with this free shoe raffle!
