- Athletes will stay for the finish of the race after theirs. About 2 Hours total.

Heat 2 Arrive 8:30am

Safety Protocols
1) All athletes and volunteers will complete the health questionnaire via QR code for contract tracing purposes.
2) Parent Volunteers - Monitoring traffic at start/finish area, manage team setup areas in parking lots, 2 course monitors on bikes to give directions and enforce social distancing
3) Maximum of 20 athletes on the course at the same time broken into different heats (looks big now but will be 20)
4) Masks must be worn at all times with the exception of during the actual race. Athletes must have the mask on the arm or under the chin at all times during the race.
5) There will be no congregating near the start/finish area. Each heat will be called to the start 5 minutes before start. Once finished, each athlete must immediately put on the mask and return to the team staging area in the parking lot.
3) Coaches, athletes and approved volunteers are the only team members allowed within the designated start and finish areas. All other visitors fans will stay above the wall or down on the course, spectators should stay away from the Team Tent areas as well. THERE ARE NO LIMITS TO SPECTATORS WHO ARE MASKED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING, BUT THEY NEED TO BE OUT ON THE COURSE AND AWAY FROM THE START/FINISH LINE AND THE TEAM TENTS!!!!
Race Details
1) Warm ups and cool downs will take place on the city streets or on the other sections of the Bay Trail not used for the race.
2) Each heat will consist of approx. 20 athletes with any number from each school making up the approx. 20.
3) Course is 3 miles.
4) Scoring will be done post race and distributed to coaches electronically. No waiting around for results will be allowed.
Facilities
1) Portable toilets will be located in the parking lot.
2) Any equipment (cones, ribbons, flour) will be provided by Tamalpais High School and all trash will be removed by the school as well.
