The track events will start at 9:00 A.M. as follows, girls than boys:
There will be no seeded heat. Heats will be run progressively faster.

We will be on a running schedule, meaning if we can move the meet along faster / consolidate heats we will.

High Jump - 5 Alive - 8:00 AM - Boys first, girls will start when boys finish
Pole Vault - 5 Alive - 8:00 AM - Girls first, boys will start when girls finish
*All coaches will be notified by Wednesday night whether they have athletes in the “seeded” flight or not.
Shot Put:
Seeded Boys: 8:00 AM
Seeded Girls: 9:00 AM
Open Ring (both genders): 10:00 AM
Warm up times: 10 minutes before the turn of the hour (ex. 10:50-11:00 AM, 11:50-12:00)
Discus:
Seeded Girls: 8:00 AM
Seeded Boys: 9:00 AM
Open Ring (both genders): 10:00 AM
Warm up times: 10 minutes before the turn of the hour (ex. 10:50-11:00 AM, 11:50-12:00)
Triple Jump (one boys and one girls pit running concurrently)

Long Jump (one boys and one girls pit running concurrently)
Seeded: 11:00 AM
Open: 12:00 PM on. Run throughs: 10 minutes before the turn of the hour (ex. 1:50-2:00 PM, 3:50-4:00
Parking
Free parking will be available on the Skyline campus. If additional parking is needed the streets surrounding the school are all free parking. A map of the track and field as well as the campus can be seen below.
*Please do not park in a fire lane, or in front of a driveway gate. If this happens we must pause the meet until the vehicle is moved. Vehicles parked in these spaces are subject to tow.
Team Areas / Bleachers
Teams are allowed in the bleachers. Please do not set up on the football field area. If you are setting up a tent in the bleachers it MUST be placed along the top row.
Facilities
The Skyline facility has an all-weather 8 lane track. The Shot put ring is on the south side of the stadium and Discus ring on the baseball field, also south. High jump is on the north side of the track.
Bathrooms are located on the northwest side of the track and in the gym. We will have portapotties
Event Mechanics
100 / 200 / 400: athletes will be called to check in, the event will be seeded at this time, and they will be CALLED BACK to get a heat and lane assignment. If they miss the call back, we cannot guarantee that they will get placed in a heat. Please make sure your athletes are listening to the calls.
800: A waterfall start will be used. 16 athletes will be placed in each heat
1600, 3200: A waterfall start will be used. 24 athletes will be placed in each heat.
100, 110, 300 Hurdles: One check in, if heats can be condensed they will be and athletes will be given new heats / lanes.
4x100, 4x400: One check in, if heats can be condensed they will be and athletes will be given new heats / lanes.
High Jump, Pole Vault: “5 Alive”
Long Jump, Triple Jump: 1 seeded flight of the 12 top marks with 4 jumps each. The rest of the jumpers will jump in an “open pit” with 3 jumps each. Pits will close at 3:00 PM to all athletes not on the runway.
Shot Put, Discus: 1 seeded flight of the 12 top marks with 4 throws each. The rest of the throwers will jump in an “open pit” with 3 throws each. Rings will close at 3:00 PM to all athletes not on the sidelines.
Weigh throwing implements:
We will be weighing all throwing implements. Weigh-ins will start 30 minutes before the first warm up set and will stay open all day. They will be located at the 110m Hurdle starting area, along the baseball fence.
Once checked in the items will be taken by meet officials to the designated throwing area.
Awards
Skyline Invite medals will be given to the top 3 performers in each event (not each flight / heat). Athletes are responsible for picking up their own medals from the awards tent.
Admission
General admission will be $8. Seniors and youth under 18 will be $5.
